I just love the smell of paper and feeling its texture on my fingers I am mindful of the fact that we should conserve the environment and consume less paper, but, when it comes to reading a good book at bedtime or on a rainy day, nothing beats a hard copy for me.
Just for the record, I enrolled at my local library… yes, it is old school, but I just love it. If I can’t find a book at the library, I will buy it online.
Everybody has their own preference; it doesn’t matter, as long as you keep reading!

I have always yearned to learn more about China and its economy, the factories and stories of migrants working there. Leslie T. Chang wrote this brilliant book about real-life experience living in the industrial cities.
In a world where people are quite judgmental about products manufactured in China, this book gave me a fresh perspective. Her memoir gave me this new found appreciation for any merchandise manufactured in China and the stories behind these products.
The book takes us deeper into their rich culture, ancient and modern day. In a weird sense these girls working in factories inspired me to evaluate my own work ethic, to persevere, work hard and keep moving forward to success. Click here to get your copy.

Wow, wow, wow! Fuel your entrepreneurial spirit with this must read! I am addicted and I know even if you are happy with your job and life, there is always this little voice inside you, that is thinking about just how did these ‘online giants’ like Facebook, Airbnb, Snapchat, Instagram and WhatsApp got their idea to fly and change the world, just to name a few.

This book is also featured on Oprahs’ Book Club – for me, her book club is a trustworthy source of reading materials and I am quite selective. If you are looking for a great fiction read this is it!
